You would be better off to plan on spending a little bit more on these party favors than what one would normally spend on favors for children. Coffee mugs are not only inexpensive but for just a few pennies more, you can have them personalized with the guest of honors name, birthday and something that would refer to the party at hand in order to personalize the mugs to that particular occasion. If you are on a tighter budget, even adding simple coffee mugs that cost a dollar at a local dollar store will even suffice.

Writing Stationary

Nothing says low budget like adding some pens to the bag of party favors but it’s always a great filler to simply add them along with other items. These, like the mugs, can also be order with personalized messages as well. If your budget really allows it, you can even order personalized pens that have each guests own name on their pen. Just try not to get the favors mixed up when passing them out.

Additional Items

There are many ideas that even you can come up with by simply walking around thrift stores or dollar stores for that matter. You may want to add some scented candles or scented soaps. These are practical ideas. On a larger budget you can even add electronic gadgets such as pocket radios. The sky’s pretty much the limit here. Use your imagination.
