Birthday Party Guest List
If you are going to be throwing
a birthday party, you should be
considering the perfect guest
list. Making out a birthday guest
list is fairly simple when it
comes to adult birthday parties
but children are a different story.
For the most part, people often
send their children to school
with invitations for the entire
classroom. This is not exactly
a bad idea as long as you take
into consideration the amount
of adults that should be present
at the party in order to maintain
order. The best idea is to simply
invite as many guests as the child’s
age (plus one). For example, if
the child is 12 years old, invite
13 guests. You do not have to
feel obligated to invite everyone
that your child knows.
Invitation Based On The Theme
You might want to consider the
theme when choosing who to invite
to the party. For example, if
you are opting in to having a
makeover theme, it’s best
to keep the invitations for girls
only. If you having a birthday
party at a remote location in
which needs to be rented, you
should check with them to see
if there is a limit on how many
people can be present at the party.
Avoid The Unknown
Do not invite people that the
birthday boy/girl does not know.
Most parent tend to invite an
entire classroom full of kids
because they don’t want
anyone to feel left out. The fact
it, the party will be much more
enjoyable and manageable if the
only people invited were the ones
that your child knows and are
friends with. Every child has
people who they do not like or
do not like them and it always
feels really strange to have them
present at their Birthday party.
Spare Their Feelings
If you are having an outdoor
birthday party that might involve
animals or rides then don’t
be afraid to invite neighborhood
children whether they regularly
play with your child or not. Neighborhood
children should not have to sit
idly buy and watch a fun party
from off at a distance when they
could be getting to know your
child better and becoming friends.
